Non-Alcoholic Christmas Drink Recipes

Merry Christmas everyone! As a gift to all my readers, subscribers and visitors here – let me share with you a couple of non-alcoholic Christmas drink recipes which you can easily prepare this holiday season.

Of course, you can always buy sparking apple cider and other non-alcoholic ready-to-drink alternatives in the grocery but wouldn’t it be fun if you make one on your own?

Thus, now presenting…

Christmas Fruit Smoothie Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup strawberries
  • 1 large banana
  • 1 cup honeydew melon
  • Mint leaves
  • Crushed ice
  • Sugar

Place all the fruits, mint leaves and ice in a blender and blend until smooth and frothy. Add sugar according to desired level of sweetness. Serves 2 people.

Virgin Mimosa Mocktail Recipe:

Ingredients:

  • Sparkling cider
  • Fresh orange juice
  • Lemon juice
  • Lemon zest
  • Sugar

Mix equal parts of cider, orange juice and lemon juice in a pitcher. Chill the mixture.

Put sugar onto a saucer and press a champagne glass with a wet rim upside down to it. Pour the chilled virgin mimosa onto the glass, careful not to touch the sugar on the frosted rim.

Garnish with lemon zest and serve.
