And also, a toast to all the winners, the participants and the sponsors of this writing project, specially to Ms. Janette Toral. Cheers!
Or should I say, “Salud!” in Spain; or “Aish Karo!” in India; or “Choc-tee” in Thailand; or “Tagay!” in Filipino. Want to learn more? See my very first post here: How to Say CHEERS in Different Languages 😀
Cocktail drinks were overflowing during the participants eyeball that night. And my choice of spirit for the night, the watermelon mojito!
Originally from Cuba, a mojito is a white rum or vodka based drink that’s usually sweet, minty and citrusy. And Le Bistro Vet’s watermelon mojito is the best tasting mojito I’ve had.
I actually had three servings of this during the night. I would have wanted to have more but I certainly didn’t want to get drunk in front of my peers. 😛
Anyway, it is certainly an honor to belong to this year’s top 10. And to mark this achievement, I’ve finally made an official Facebook Page for the Thirsty Blogger. Woot!
Thank you and next stop… the 2010 Philippine Blog Awards. 😉
