Songkran means “astrological passage” in Thai – the Songkran Festival is their traditional New Year’s Day. And eating here, it does feel like you’re having media noche.

Pao Pao Xiao Chi: Milk Teas, Fruit Teas and More
Last weekend, I was invited to attend a blogger event at Pao Pao Xiao Chi.
The store, whose name means “very full” (Pao Pao) and “small snacks” (Xiao Chi), is where you can find authentic Taiwanese tea-based drinks and Taiwanese street food items at very affordable prices.

Bubble Tea: Chocolate Milk Tea and More
It was back in college when I first got to taste tea with milk. I didn’t like it. I don’t know what happened but years after, it’s now something I occasionally crave for.
At home, I have my supply of Lipton Milk Tea. Even in Starbucks, I make my own tea latte. And now, I’ve discovered Bubble Tea – a place where I can really have premium milk tea for those big cravings.
