Have you ever tasted lemongrass iced tea? I didn’t know that you could make iced tea out of lemongrass until I came across this booth when I was looking around the One Town, One Product (OTOP) Luzon Island Fair 2009 last July.

Lemongrass, or what is locally known as Tanglad or Baraniw, is recognized as a natural insect repellent. It is traditionally mixed with virgin coconut oil, then applied on the skin and even on hair.
