When you say L-Carnitine in drinks, the brand on top of my mind and I think, in most people would be that of Del Monte’s Fit ‘n Right.

But ever since that came into the market, many other brands started to produce their own L-Carnitine drinks – one of them is Universal Robina Corporation (URC) and their product – C2 Envidia.

I first saw Coffee Works at the Sky Garden in SM City North EDSA but never really had the chance to try their drinks. That’s why when I went to Cagayan De Oro, I really made sure I’d visit the branch where it all started.

The original Coffee Works in CDO is located at the corner of Rosario Arcade, Limketkai Center. They started in 2005 and is said to be one of the favorite hangouts of Cagayanons.

Coming to Cagayan de Oro for the first time, I was able to witness another first – the opening of the first branch of Starbucks in Mindanao which is located at the corner of Limketkai Ave and Rosario Crescent in CDO.

Many Cagayanons are proud to have the “first Starbucks in Mindanao” – beating Davao by months who will have their first branch in Abreeza Mall, hopefully by mid-2011.
