I just tried this new beverage from Kentucky Fried Chicken, the KFC Krushers. I don’t know when they launched it here in the Philippines, but it was my first time to try it last night.
KFC Krushers has three flavors, the Classic Krush varieties – Kookies n’ Kream and Karamel Krunch; and the Strawberry Banana Yoghurt Krush.
I ordered the Strawberry Banana krush primarily because it’s yoghurt (read: healthy). Here’s a shot of my drink – it’s not as “strawberry pink colored” as it shows on the ads but I it’s okay.
The first thing I noticed was the drink looked very frothy. I expected it to have the same consistency of ice blended milkshakes, but it’s not.
As for the taste, it’s actually quite yummy. The strawberry flavor is strong and sweet with just a tiny hint of banana flavor. There’s some very soft banana chunks inside too.
However, I think that this is not something you’ll enjoy drinking together with your KFC meal because it’s more of a dessert rather than a beverage. And don’t expect it to quench your thirst, so be ready with some water afterward.
At present, the KFC Yoghurt Krush sells for P75, while I believe that the Classic Krush is at P65. Quite pricey for “a drink” in a fast food place, in my opinion.
Nevertheless, it was a good experience for me.
I have tried the yogurt one and it was great and mouth watering, but same as what you said, not a thirst quencher…

Just tried the Yoghurt Krushers. I liked it. However, I was sur-priced! P75? Their menu board says P50 for the strawberry banana. It turns out to be the price if you upgrade your value meal drink. Ganun?! Feeling ko, naloko ako.
