Songkran Thai Restaurant: Milk Tea and More

By | May 7, 2011

If you find yourself in Paranaque, be sure to go inside BF Homes and drive through Aguirre Ave. Because you’ll see here a lot of good restaurants where you can eat – one of them Songkran Thai Restaurant.

Songkran means “astrological passage” in Thai – the Songkran Festival is their traditional New Year’s Day. And eating here, it does feel like you’re having media noche.

Being a Thai restaurant, it’s expected that they have Tom Yum Goong soup – and what they serve in Songkran is fragrantly yummy.

And if you’re dining there, be sure to order their fresh spring rolls as appetizer – it’s crazy nutty delicious!

Of course, don’t forget to order their special milk tea along with your meal. The secret to having the most out of it is to request an extra glass of ice with it.

They use “ice beads” for their drinks. Meanwhile, the milk tea has a strong sweet flavor. Mix the two and you have a refreshing drink that’s just right to the taste.

Songkran Thai Restaurant in Paranaque is located at Aguirre Ave. cor. D. Tuazon, Phase 3, B.F. Homes.
