A new place to eat delicious burgers is coming to Bonifacio Global City. The first-ever branch in the Philippines and Southeast Asia, Shake Shack will be opening its doors early next year in BGC.
It will be located at Central Square. Just on the corner of C1 Park and 5th Avenue.
Credits go to the SSI Group, who is now working with local purveyors, producers, and artists to create a unique experience for the Filipino community as we welcome Shake Shack to the Philippines.
Construction of the new branch kicks off with two murals by local street artist, Jappy Agoncillo, who is known for his urban art around the Metro. The Shake Shack murals are inspired by the spirit and landscape of Metro Manila, and celebrate the unique community that Shake Shack will soon call home.
The first mural, found on the store facade along 5th Avenue “used real life monuments and buildings, each from some of the major cities that make up Metro Manila, as inspiration,” says Agoncillo.
The second, displayed inside Central Square, is inspired by Manila’s distinct rooftop scenery. Neon in the daytime and glowing at night, the murals are the first pieces of Filipino art to join Shack’s Creative Community.
For even more fun while construction progresses, a larger-than-life installation featuring the iconic ShackBurger bag will appear in various locations around the BGC neighborhood. Spot it if you can and share the Shack love with #ShakeShackPH.
