Kapeng Barako Coffee Shop in Batangas City

During my last Visita Iglesia in Batangas, I came upon this simple but cozy coffee shop just across the Immaculada Concepcion Minor Basilica in Batangas City.

This coffee shop is called, Kapeng Barako Coffee Shop.

It was a really hot day and this place called upon me as I went out the church. I was immediately drawn to the shaded tables and the cool breeze that goes around the alfresco area.

Interestingly, the shop doesn’t just sell your usual coffee drinks, but they also sell cocktails (yes they sell alcoholic drinks) and fruit smoothies… as well as some local delicacies.

As I’ve said, it was a hot summer day, so I opted to order their choco-banana shake which I must say was delicious. It cooled me instantly and gave me the energy to last throughout the afternoon.

I’ll surely pass by this coffee shop again if ever I find myself in Batangas City, and so should you.
