Coffee Works in Cagayan De Oro

By | November 25, 2010

.

I first saw Coffee Works at the Sky Garden in SM City North EDSA but never really had the chance to try their drinks. That’s why when I went to Cagayan De Oro, I really made sure I’d visit the branch where it all started.

The original Coffee Works in CDO is located at the corner of Rosario Arcade, Limketkai Center. They started in 2005 and is said to be one of the favorite hangouts of Cagayanons.

When I went there, the place was full at 4 o’clock in the afternoon – packed with people inside enjoying their coffee, cakes and the free WiFi.

I didn’t know their best sellers so I ordered the coffee shop classic, Mocha Frappe (photo above) while a friend ordered the Hazelnut Frappe, which he said was good – not too sweet and went well with his pie.

My mocha frappe was good as well – not too sweet also and quite refreshing. The mocha taste is very close to Milo actually – which I liked because I love Milo. 😀

If ever you find yourself in CDO, or perhaps in SM City North EDSA; then why not try Coffee Works. I assure you… you’ll like it there.

    Hi!
I would just like to thank you for dropping by Coffeeworks CDO and for patronizing local, homegrown coffeeshops like ours. I wish more people think like you and realize, local coffee is just as good, if not better (for our unbeatable price and freshness), than imported ones.
May I invite your faithful readers to also check our our other branches in Iligan City and Divisoria , CDO which opened just recently:)
Again, thank you, and do visit our SKygarden branch if you can:)
    More power to Thirsty Blogger!:)

I really like coffee and when Coffee works opened near XU I always get my cup of coffee there. I didn’t know this was a homegrown business though! Good job to the proprietors. I’m studying Accounting and interested in business and this fact really inspired me. Kudos!
