When I visited Kalibo, Aklan to attend the Ati-Atihan Festival, one of the first things I looked for was a coffee shop where I could rest, relax and hangout. And in Kalibo, there seems to be only one that I truly like – the Latte Coffee Kalibo.

The holidays is always a time to see old friends and last month was no different. I had the chance to visit my alma mater and spend an evening with my dormmates back in college.

After dinner, we decided to hang out and catch up at Figaro UP-Ayala Technohub. The coffee shop branch is located on the piece of land that used to be an “idle asset” when I was still studying but now, it’s a bustling commercial center.

I was out yesterday running errands and as my day ended, I began to feel that I needed to rest and unwind somewhere before I finally head home.

And so I decided to go to Starbucks and I’m glad I did for I was able to try their latest drink for the new year – the Honey Orange beverages.
